Immerse yourselves in the fascinating world of gypsum mining in the 18th and 19th centuries. Switzerland’s only gypsum mine, in Schleitheim, offers you the chance to experience the history of gypsum mining at first hand. You’ll travel into the tunnels on a miniature railway and learn more about the hard work of the miners who once worked here. Experience the unique atmosphere underground!
