Schaffhausen wine region

The art of enjoyment is also very important in the northernmost part of Switzerland. This is where the Schaffhausen Pinot Noir area is located. The red Pinot Noir is more present in the wine region than anywhere else in Switzerland. This variety accounts for a good 60 percent of the total vineyard area of around 470 hectares.
