Schaffhausen Wine Region

The art of enjoyment is highly valued in the northernmost part of Switzerland. This is where the Schaffhausen Pinot Noir area is located. The red of Pinot Noir is more prevalent in this wine region than anywhere else in Switzerland. This variety accounts for a good 60 percent of the total vineyard area of approximately 470 hectares.
