Cross-country skiing & Sledding

Snow covers a large area. Cross-country ski trails have been prepared, and three cross-country skiers are enjoying them.

When the Schaffhauserland is covered in a blanket of white snow, it's time for winter adventures. Get out into the snow, grab your sled or cross-country skis from the cellar, and head out onto the Randen.

Cross-country ski trails

Why travel far when the Randen offers its own cross-country skiing area when it snows? The trail network in the Schaffhauserland leads over open fields and through snowy forests.

Sledding Paradise

In snowy winters, the slopes of the Randen transform into a sledding paradise. Race down the hill with a wooden sled or bob. Fun for all ages is guaranteed.
