Cross-country skiing & tobogganing

When the Schaffhauserland is covered in a white blanket of snow, the time for winter adventures begins. Now it's time to get out into the snow, get the sledge or cross-country skis out of the cellar and head out onto the Randen.

Cross-country ski trails

Why wander far afield when the Randen offers its own cross-country skiing area in the snow. The cross-country ski trail network in Schaffhauserland leads across open fields and through snow-covered forests.

Sledging paradise

The slopes of the Randen are transformed into a sledging paradise in the snowy winter. Race down the hill on a wooden sledge or bobsleigh. Fun for young and old is guaranteed.
