The house "Zum Hinteren Dornhahn" is located in the middle of the old town on Münsterplatz, opposite the Allerheiligen monastery, the former religious, cultural and stately center of the town of Schaffhausen. The house is one of the typical medieval town houses with a workshop and a store on the first floor and apartments on the upper floors. The 16th century house is named after the merchant Jacob Dornhan.

Sorell Hotel Rüden

The magnificent "Schwarzer Rüden" building was declared the guild house of the merchants' guild in 1423. The spacious staircase hall, the banqueting hall with its Empire stucco ceiling and the rococo decorations still bear witness to the wealthy guild today. Incidentally, the "Schwarzer Rüden" is the tallest building in Schaffhausen's old town.

The Anna Schmid Puurehuus has stood at the entrance to the village center of the late medieval settlement of Buchthalen since 1670. Well-kept half-timbered houses and beautiful gardens still exude their incomparable charm and tranquillity here today.

Schwandegg Castle, which was first mentioned in 1288 and is a listed building, is situated on a 30-meter-high hill near Waltalingen. Each room in this castle is individually designed. You can even spend the night in the oldest part of the castle, the tower.
