This foundation acquires historic buildings across Switzerland that are at risk of decay or demolition, gently restores them, and gives them a vibrant future as unique holiday accommodations.

Baderhaus

Neunkirch

The historic Baderhaus is an important part of Neunkirch's history and invites you on a journey through the centuries. From the 15th century until around 1900, the residential building housed a bathhouse, making it an important architectural testament to social history.

Schaffhausen

The house 'Zum Hinteren Dornhahn' is located in the heart of the old town on Münsterplatz, opposite the Allerheiligen monastery, the former religious, cultural, and aristocratic center of the city of Schaffhausen. The house is one of the typical medieval times townhouses with a workshop and a shop on the ground floor, and apartments on the upper floors. The 16th-century house is named after the merchant Jacob Dornhan.

Stein am Rhein

The hotel and restaurant is an imposing building at the northern bridgehead of the town of Stein am Rhein. Magnificent halls and rooms recall the centuries-old history of the former customs house, warehouse, and guildhall.

Wash House

Wilchingen

The Wöschhüsli is located in the heart of Wilchingen, a village known for its winegrowers and poets. Until 1959, the house was used as a washhouse. Afterwards, it was renovated into a holiday apartment, preserving its historical integrity.

Anna Schmid Farmhouse

Schaffhausen

This charming 17th-century farmhouse has been restored in accordance with monument preservation guidelines. The Anna Schmid Puurehuus has stood since 1670 at the entrance to the village center of the late medieval times settlement of Buchthalen. Well-maintained half-timbered houses and beautiful gardens still exude their unique charm and tranquility here today.

B&B kleine Schaub

Stein am Rhein

The 16th-century house 'Kleine Schaub' is located in the heart of the old town of Stein am Rhein. In the past, the traditional Schaub- und Steckenmarkt took place here.

Seldas

Schaffhausen

The «Seldenau» is a residential building of significant architectural and cultural-historical value, first documented in the 16th century. The building boasts rich furnishings from various eras and is a protected monument due to its importance in settlement history and urban development.

Stein am Rhein

This romantic 15th-century building possesses great charm. Along the closed row of houses on today's Schifflände, there used to be the 'Steckenmarkt,' where vine stakes were traded.

Tanne

Schaffhausen

The «Tanne» is one of Schaffhausen's most traditional and best-preserved historic Gasthäuser. During the renovation of the studios in the annex building, the history of the house served as inspiration. For instance, the wood used in the bathrooms originates from the maple tree that stood in the inner courtyard for centuries.

Hirschen

Stammheim

The historic rooms are located in a former rural manor house dating back to 1684. Historic furniture, such as a four-poster bed from the early 19th century, makes these rooms unique.

Schwandegg Castle

Waltalingen

Schloss Schwandegg, first mentioned in 1288 and a protected historical monument, is situated on a 30-meter-high hill near Waltalingen. Each room in this castle is individually designed. You can even stay overnight in the oldest part of the castle, the tower.
