Hegi Biotope
Have you ever observed the blue-green mosaic dragonfly or listened to the croaking of frogs?
The Hegi biotope in Altdorf was created in 1980 with its three ponds. This carefully maintained oasis provides an ideal habitat for many species of dragonflies and amphibians. During orchid season, you can even spot the "Chuchischelle" near the biotope.
