"Quality begins in the vineyard" is the guiding principle of our winery, whose history began over 80 years ago.

Today, over 120 vineyards in the Schaffhausen Pinot Noir area nurture and care for their vines for the winery. They proudly deliver their excellent grapes, which our cellar master Michael Fuchs carefully and with great experience processes into beautiful wines.
The team around Michael Fuchs includes experienced wine technologists, an apprentice and those responsible for bottling. They all contribute to the success of GVS wines. The wine expertise is reflected in the numerous awards won each year at national and international competitions.
Most of the wines can be tasted in the GVS Vinothek in the GVS Markt in Herblingertal and the online store provides a wealth of information about the fine wines.
