A special experience for children and adults alike. Enjoy a ride on the Steiner Liliputbahn, with a true-to-scale train of the Rhaetian Railway, with carriages from the 1920s, hauled by a "Ge6/6" crocodile or a coal-fired genuine RhB steam locomotive of the "G 4/5" type. The locomotives and cars are built on a scale of 1:4.
The journey starts at the SLB station, modeled on the "valley station of the Brienzer Rothornbahn", at the URh boat landing stage, past the children's playground, through the beautiful town garden, along the Rhine, through the tunnel at the engine shed and back to the station.
The track gauge is 7 1/4 inches. Our engines are capable of carrying 30 to 60 passengers with ease. Different locomotives run alternately, depending on the volume of traffic.
Treat yourself to a ride lasting just under 10 minutes and enjoy the experience of being pulled along the beautiful Rhine by a model electric locomotive from times gone by or by a large model steam locomotive, huffing and puffing.
Passengers with a handicap and their companions travel free of charge in our wheelchair-accessible carriage.

The train normally operates from April to mid-October from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm
We always run on Sundays and public holidays. During the spring and summer school vacations (SH + ZH) additionally on Wednesdays.
Additionally on 2nd, 3rd and 4th Advent from 13.00 - 17.00.
Operation only in dry weather!
