Rötiberg Winery
Great wines from Wilchingen
Media
Wilchingen, a village with 60 hectares of vineyards, and a young team with wine in their veins and ideas in their heads – a perfect combination.
In the north of Switzerland lies a region shaped by the Rhine in ancient times – the Klettgau. The vineyards surrounding the wine-growing villages of Wilchingen, Osterfingen, and Trasadingen are cultivated with the utmost care in our winery. Ingenuity and creativity are our hallmarks. We create long-lasting Schaffhausen wines that will still be enjoyable for many years to come.
The Rötiberg Winery was founded by our winegrowers in 2001. We took the name Rötiberg from one of the best-located and sunniest vineyards on the Wilchingerberg in the beautiful Klettgau region – the Wild West of Schaffhausen.
We are a young, innovative team, and everyone pitches in wherever work needs to be done. Teamwork is very important to us. Our new marketing ideas usually come about over a few glasses of good wine.
Making good wine requires many things: good soil, the right amount of sunshine and rain, and – above all – a love of winemaking. We believe in wines for pure enjoyment – made to be drunk with joy and friends.
We are proud that all our wines have been Regional Nature Park Schaffhausen for the Swiss Parks and Regional Nature Park Schaffhausen label since September 2019. Regional products and strengthening the regional economy are close to our hearts.
