Rötiberg Winery
Great wines from Wilchingen
Media
Wilchingen, a village with 60 hectares of vineyards, and a young team with wine in their veins and ideas in their heads—a perfect combination.
In northern Switzerland lies a region shaped long ago by the Rhine—the Klettgau. Around the local wine-growing villages of Wilchingen, Osterfingen, and Trasadingen, the vines grow, which are vinified with the utmost care at our winery. Ingenuity and creativity are our hallmarks. We create long-lasting Schaffhausen wines that will still be a pleasure to drink many years from now.
In 2001, the Rötiberg Winery was founded by our winegrowers. We took the name Rötiberg from one of the best-located and sunniest vineyards on the Wilchingerberg in the beautiful Klettgau—the Wild West of Schaffhausen.
We are a young, innovative team; everyone pitches in wherever work needs to be done. Teamwork is a top priority for us. Our new marketing ideas usually come to us over a few glasses of good wine.
Making good wine requires many things: good soil, the right amount of sunshine and rain, and—above all—a love for winemaking. We believe in wines for pure enjoyment—made to be shared with joy and friends.
We are proud that all our wines have been Regional Nature Park Schaffhausen for the Swiss Parks and Regional Nature Park Schaffhausen label since September 2019. Regional products and the strengthening of the regional economy are close to our hearts.
