Bakery-Confectionery at Schaubmarkt

We, Franz and Monika Marty, have been running our bakery-pastry shop Am Schaubmarkt in the picturesque old town of Stein am Rhein since 1993. Our business premises date back to 1677 and have always been used as a bakery, with a few interruptions. Spelt plays a special role in our bakery, and over the years we have established ourselves as a spelt specialist. Our range includes many different delicacies such as biscuits, bars and fruit breads. UrDinkel pumpkin seed beavers are particularly popular with fans of filled beavers who cannot tolerate nuts or almonds for health reasons. Only pumpkin seeds from Schaffhausen farmers, the only Swiss pumpkin seed producers, are used. Our presence at the BEA in Bern has already become a tradition. We are one of the founding members of Naturel and all its predecessor organizations and are involved as bakers' representatives on the board of IG Dinkel.
