church St. Moritz
Built in 1491 and dedicated to Saint Mauritius, church is located on a promontory of the Hallauer Berg mountain and towers over the village of Hallau, which is famous for its winegrowing. Its elevated position means that the church is visible throughout the Klettgau region and has become a landmark of Hallau.
In 1974, it was declared an art monument of national importance due to its art-historical and historical significance. It underwent thorough restoration between 1976 and 1978 and was gently renovated again in 2015.
