The Local Museum Hallau is the perfect place for visitors interested in history. Our exhibition 'Hallau. Headstrong. Innovative. Resilient.' highlights the region's development from the formation of the landscape to the present day.
Additionally, the museum features a large weapon collection, with the 'Genferstutzen' rifle as a showpiece, uniforms and traditional costumes from the Hallau region, tools and everyday objects used by craftsmen and trades, documents and pictures from Hallau, a fire department exhibition, and the Hallau Water and Electricity Works (WEH).
You will also find the 'Lino' typesetting and casting machine here, which is still in operation.
