The Hallau Local History Museum is the perfect place for visitors interested in history.

The exhibition “Hallau: Determined, Innovative, Resilient” explores the region’s development from the formation of the landscape to the present day. In addition, the museum features, among other things, a large collection of weapons—with the Genferstutzen as its centerpiece—as well as uniforms and traditional costumes from the Hallau region, tools and everyday objects used by artisans and tradespeople, documents and images from Hallau, a fire department exhibition, and the Hallau Water and Electricity Works (WEH). The museum also displays the “Lino” typesetting and casting machine, which is still in operation.

Opening hours

Every first Sunday of the month: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
