An den Wochenenden ist das Buchberghaus während des ganzen Jahres geöffnet und bietet für jedermann ideale Verpflegungs- und Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten. Das Buchberghaus ist ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel mitten im Schaffhauser Randengebiet und gewährt eine Panoramasicht über Hegau, Bodensee und die Schweizer Bergwelt.
Verpflegung
Das Buchberghaus bietet Verpflegungs- und Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten. Das Haus ist jedes Wochenende, an allen Feiertagen und teilweise in den Schulferien (Frühlings- und Herbstferien) geöffnet. Die Gaststube bietet Platz für 40 Personen und vor dem Haus befindet sich eine grosse Gartenwirtschaft. Es ist familienfreundlich gestaltet, mit Spiel- und Grillplätzen.
Comfortable overnight accommodation
The Buchberghaus has various sleeping options and space for 40 overnight guests. There are rooms for 2, 3, 4 and 5 people as well as two dormitories. In the rooms you sleep in Nordic style and in the dormitories in your own sleeping bag. Shower and washrooms are separated by gender on each floor.
Das Buchberghaus kann unter der Woche auch gemietet werden. Der Gastraum kann dann in einen Schul- oder Kursraum unfunktioniert werden. Ein Beamer mit Anschlüssen HDMI und USB-C und eine Leinwand stehen zur Verfügung.
Around the Buchberghaus
There are two barbecue areas in front of the Buchberghaus. Children and teenagers can have fun at various playgrounds. A roundabout, a rotating climbing tower, a slackline, a table tennis table, basketball hoops and a volleyball court invite you to play and exercise.

The path network for biodiversity is a sustainable facility that supports and promotes movement, recreation, and understanding of nature. Various aspects of biodiversity are described on the path network around the Buchberghaus of the Naturfreunde Schaffhausen. It aims to appeal to nature lovers, hikers, and especially families, schools, and professions related to nature.
