Efficient sawing of logs was only made possible thanks to electricity. The saw was and is powered by a powerful 18 hp electric motor. The drive, the large transmission, the full frame saw, and the ingenious feed mechanism make the saw so special—it is a link between the single frame saws that were powered by water and modern sawmills.
