Immerse yourself in the world of technology from 100 years ago.
Efficient sawing of logs was only made possible by electricity. The saw was—and still is—powered by a massive 18 PS electric motor. The drive system, the large transmission, the full-frame saw, and the ingenious feed mechanism are what make this saw so special—it serves as a bridge between the single-frame saws powered by water and modern sawmills. A crafts exhibition offers further insights into traditional trades.
