Church Buchberg and Rüdlingen
It was not until 1850 that the church of Rüdlingen Buchberg was built Buchberg its beautiful location between the two villages, offering a unique view of the Rhine and the Flaach Valley.

A small church in Rüdlingen , St. Margarethen Church, was first Rüdlingen in 1130. It was probably destroyed by fire during the 13th century and was not rebuilt. St. Jakob's Church, located above the rectory in what is now the cemetery, is also mentioned in documents. It originally belonged to the parish of Lottstetten. In the early years of the Reformation, Buchberg Rüdlingen at that time still a single municipality) joined the Reformed Church, as did the entire canton of Schaffhausen. Despite several renovations in the 17th and 18th centuries, St. Jakob's Church became increasingly dilapidated. The two municipalities finally decided to demolish the old church and rebuild it on its current site.
