Kulturhaus Obere Stube

Kulturhaus Obere Stube is a vibrant and open exhibition and meeting place for national and international art and culture. In the ensemble of houses formerly used as the guild house 'Zur Rose,' visitors can see historical exhibitions and contemporary national and international art. The two special exhibition rooms are regularly updated with new displays. Themes from classical modernism, design, regional culture and history, as well as performative and experimental art, find a new venue here. The large 15th-century guild hall, where semi-permanent exhibitions are displayed, and the wood-paneled guild room from 1681 are the historical highlights.
’s “Floating Stones” The courtyard is a pleasant surprise: Here, Australian artist Jamie North has created a striking sculptural landscape. A wall covered in floating stones lends the courtyard structure and character. Art and nature blend together in a unique way. Anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the Old Town for a while will find a quiet spot here.
The bar offers a selection of snacks and drinks for when you're feeling a little hungry.
