Visit our museum - located in the old schoolhouse dating back to 1780 - and find out interesting facts about Schleitheim.
Our exhibitions include fossils of prehistoric sea and land dwellers. Find out more about the dinosaur Schleitheimia schutzi. Pictures, documents and finds from Schleitheim's early history as well as utilitarian and luxury objects and handicrafts from everyday life in Schleitheim can be explored in interesting exhibitions.
We also have a small exhibition about the former Schaffhausen-Schleitheim StSS tramway.
An international attraction is the world's only publicly displayed print of the Schleitheim Confession of Faith from the 16th century and the accompanying exhibition on the origins of Anabaptism. (in German and English)
