Visit our museum – located in the old schoolhouse from 1780 – and discover interesting facts about Schleitheim.
Our exhibitions include, among other things, fossils of prehistoric marine and land inhabitants. Learn more about the dinosaur Schleitheimia schutzi. Pictures, documents, and finds from Schleitheim's early history, as well as everyday objects, luxury items, and handicrafts from Schleitheim's daily life, can be explored in engaging exhibitions.
Additionally, we have a small exhibition about the former Schaffhausen-Schleitheim StSS tramway.
A major international attraction is the globally unique publicly displayed print of the Schleitheim Confession from the 16th century, along with the accompanying exhibition on the origins of Anabaptism. (in German and English)
