Seldenhalde

In spring, shortly after the snow has melted, thousands of wildflowers bloom in all their glory in the forest area of the Auenwald nature reserve.
Located to the north of Schleitheim, directly on the German border, it is also home to one of the largest alluvial forests in Switzerland and is part of the federal inventory of landscapes worthy of protection. The Auenwald nature reserve is located directly on the Wutach. The border river Wutach has been renaturalized in recent years and can largely find its own way. This has created a unique, huge biotope with incredibly diverse flora and fauna.
A leisurely hiking trail leads through the unique landscape from Oberwiesen, Schleitheim along the Wutach to the "Seldenhalde".
