Playground Hurbig
The playground is equipped with a wooden climbing tower with a slide and a swing. Right next to it is a barbecue area.
The Hurbig, as the highest point between the Rafzerfeld and the Rhine trench, is visible from afar. The name dates back to the Old High German 'Hurewic': 'har' or 'hor' means 'swampy, boggy, or mire'. On the eastern slope, barely visible in the forest, water emerges. Rushes and horsetails grow there, both ancient plants indicating wet ground.
