Christophe Külling and Barbara Vögeli, together with their proven, well-coordinated team of employees, manage an up-and-coming, growing vineyard with plots in the municipalities of Trasadingen, Wilchingen, Hallau, Oberhallau and Gächlingen in accordance with IP Suisse guidelines.
In addition to the main varieties Riesling Sylvaner and Pinot Noir, we also cultivate grape varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Cabarnet Dorsa, Dornfelder, Gamaret, Da Capo and Zweigelt. The hand-picked grapes are supplied to a wide variety of customers.
In 2005, Christophe Külling began breeding fallow deer on Hallauer Berg.
The herd consists of around 30 suckler cows and their young, in addition to the resident stag. We sell the healthy, low-fat and low-cholesterol meat directly from the farm to private customers or in the Hirschbeiz at Bahnhofstrasse 37 in Hallau. We cater for groups and families for birthday parties and weddings in a cozy atmosphere. The location is also ideal for club and company events.
The absolute highlight of our game specialties is the popular Fondue Vigneronne accompanied by a glass of wine from the Chläggi.
WEIN & WILD The name says it all. On request, we are happy to organize a tasting of our wines or a vineyard walk with a visit to the deer.
The dates of the annual events such as the Rebhüslifest, Autumn Sundays, Chilbipfeffer, Spring and Advent tastings, Christmas windows, Fondue Vigneronne in the winter months, etc. can be found on our website. www.weinundwild.ch
Wine and meat sales every Saturday from 10.00 to 14.00 in the Hirschbeiz or by telephone arrangement.
