Since the Ballooning Club Stein am Rhein was founded in the 1980s, many people have been able to admire our beautiful region from a bird's eye view. Today we can look back on 40 accident-free years and look forward to more beautiful flights in the region.

Since his childhood, Pascal has been fascinated by balloons, which were still rare at the time. At the age of 19, he was already able to show passengers the beauty of nature from a bird's eye view as a pilot himself. More than 27 years have passed since then. Since then, Pascal has spent over 1000 hours in the air. He has also taken part in many competitions, including regular participation in the Swiss hot-air ballooning championships.
Tanja Witprächtiger and Margrit Lazzaretti look after the guests on the ground. They are just as enthusiastic about ballooning. They accompany us to the landing site in the chase vehicle. They know the north-eastern part of Switzerland very well and always know the quickest way home. At competitions, Tanja is the calming influence and provides Pascal with important information.
Our balloon fleet currently comprises 2 hot-air balloons. A smaller balloon with a volume of 3,700m3 and a larger one with a volume of 4,500m3 of hot air. We carry out gas balloon flights with our own balloon, which is also operated by 2 other pilots.
