Together we can achieve more. This was the basic idea behind the "Zum Eichenen Fass" cooperative founded in 1977. To this day, the properties on Webergasse are a place to live, work and enjoy culture for visitors and the 400 or so members of the cooperative. The pub becomes a club for the Fassjazz concert series, its walls become a barrel gallery - and the small underground space becomes a stage for cabaret, youth theater, readings for the Schaffhausen Book Week, lectures and concerts. Hip, undisguised, direct, honest.
