Have you always wanted to know how glass is made or what glass actually is? At the adventure glassworks, various glass furnaces are in operation. You will discover how color is added to glass and why the term "fire-polished" is used.
At the glass factory, both individual visitors and tourist groups are welcome to try glass blowing. For groups of up to 50 people, we offer glass demonstrations and guided tours (please register in advance). You'll witness how a lump of molten glass is expertly shaped into various forms using skilled hands, wet paper, different tools, and, naturally, traditional glassblower's pipes. Fascinating objects, animals, sculptures, bowls, and much more are created right before your eyes.
Duration approximately one hour.
Restaurant Mondglas in Hallau is open for groups. For school classes, it offers a varied and educational lesson. Special conditions for school classes. Your club outing with a glass show and possibly a wine tasting will be a delight. Wine tastings of Hallauer, Osterfinger, and Wilchinger wines are available in the Mondglas premises. Host your business seminar differently, away from the distractions of your own office, in the Mondglas premises, and let an art exhibition occasionally clear your minds. With restaurant service or an aperitif in the cafe.
