Hagenhütte
The Hagenhütte is located just a few meters from the Hagenturm, which at 912 m above sea level is the highest point in the canton of Schaffhausen.

The hut can be reached from Merishausen, Hemmental or Beggingen and is rented out all year round. It offers space for 40 people in the lounge and has two bedrooms with a total of 25 beds. Wood is used for heating and cooking and the water comes from the rainwater cistern. Lighting is provided by petrol lamps in the lounge and solar power in the other rooms.
The Hagenhütte is located on the edge of the forest and borders a large meadow with a fireplace, which can also be used.
