Hagenhütte
The Hagenhütte is located just a few meters from the Hagenturm, which, at 912 meters above sea level, is the highest point in the canton of Schaffhausen.

The hut is accessible from Merishausen, Hemmental, or Beggingen and is available for rent all year round. It offers space for 40 people in the common room and has two dormitories with a total of 25 beds. Heating and cooking are done with wood, and water comes from a cistern that collects rainwater. Lighting in the common room is provided by kerosene lamps, and in other rooms by solar power.
The Hagenhütte is located at the edge of the forest and borders a large meadow with a fireplace, which can also be used.
