At the Thurauen Nature Center, you'll find the interactive exhibition 'Floodplain Landscape Cosmos' with an adventure trail through the floodplain forest and a special exhibition 'Wow, a Kingfisher'. The restaurant, managed by TCS, invites you to linger in every season with its spacious terrace, fireplace, and lounge. A swimming pool, fire pits, and a playground complete the diverse offerings for all ages. The Nature Center is also a starting point for hikes through the unique Thurauen, and families can explore the varied Thurauen Adventure Trail (starts at Ellikerbrücke parking lot).
Or start your team outing with an eventful guided tour through the largest floodplain conservation area in the Central Plateau. Under expert guidance, you will discover the most beautiful corners of the Thurauen, learn more about the renaturation, and encounter some typical floodplain inhabitants. You will spend your lunch break at a cozy fireplace directly on the Thur river. In the afternoon, your team will be the focus: with a team coach, you will optimize collaboration and strengthen cohesion with challenging outdoor tasks.
