Let yourself be carried away into the fascinating nature of a living floodplain! At the Thurauen Nature Center, you can visit the interactive exhibition "Kosmos Auenlandschaft" with an adventure trail through the floodplain forest and a special exhibition entitled "Wow, a kingfisher". The restaurant, which is run by the TCS, invites you to linger at any time of year with its spacious terrace, fireplace and lounge. The swimming pool, fire pits and playground round off the varied offerings for young and old. The nature center is also the starting point for hikes through the unique Thurauen and families can explore the varied Thurauen adventure trail (start at the Ellikerbrücke parking lot).
Or start your team excursion with an exciting guided tour through the largest floodplain conservation area in the Central Plateau. Under expert guidance, you will discover the most beautiful corners of the Thur floodplains, learn more about renaturation and meet some typical floodplain inhabitants. You will spend your lunch break at a cozy fireplace right by the Thur. In the afternoon, the focus is on your team: with a team trainer, you will optimize cooperation and strengthen cohesion with challenging tasks in the open air.
