Switch off from everyday life and do something good for your soul. Sunshine, cool water, sparkling drinks, and culinary delights. Recharge your batteries and enjoy cozy evenings in a lively atmosphere. Seasonal, regional lunch menus, fresh every day. History Since 1870, the large Schaffhausen wooden bath has been moored in the Rhine under the Munot. The city architect Johann Gottfried Meyer was responsible for the construction of the largest surviving box bath in Switzerland (it is even said to be the oldest river bathing facility in Europe). The water level in the bath is kept constant by the dam of the power station. However, swimmers should note that the current of the Rhine becomes faster when there is a larger volume of water.
