For over 75 years, the Schwegler family’s Hotel and Restaurant Rheinfels has been a beloved destination in Stein am Rhein. The historic building, once a customs house and warehouse, gives the Rheinfels its unique charm.

At the Rheinfels, guests can stay in modern, historic rooms right on the Rhine. The restaurant is particularly well-known for its exquisite fish dishes. Whenever possible, fresh fish from the adjacent lake is served and filleted at the table.
