Schwanen Cinema & Theatre
The wheelchair-accessible cinema has 70 comfortable seats, modern projection technology (including 3D), Dolby surround sound, and hearing assistance. Current movies are shown every weekend. Cabaret performances and concerts are regularly held on stage.
The cinema can also be rented for private events.
Until 1600, the building was called Kreuz or Weisses Kreuz and was used as a residence, guesthouse, and inn. Over time, it developed into Gasthaus leading Gasthaus the area. In 1927, the Gasthaus was converted Gasthaus cinema and has since become one of the oldest cinemas in Switzerland.
