The Municipal theatre Schaffhausen is one of the most beautiful theatres in Switzerland. From September to May, it presents the best of drama, musical theatre, dance, and cabaret, as well as exciting and imaginative theatre for children and families. In addition to new productions of well-known classics, the program regularly features premieres and new plays presented by artists and ensembles from Switzerland and around the world.
In addition to the theatre program, the Municipal theatre also hosts concerts by the Musik Collegium Schaffhausen and various other events.
