Located in the heart of the Old Town is the natural history collection of taxidermist, furrier, and conservationist Carl Stemmler (1882–1971). A cabinet of curiosities that evokes times long past and is undoubtedly the craziest museum in Schaffhausen.

A museum within a museum. The exhibition features many birds and mammals from Schaffhausen and Europe: taxidermy specimens, feathers, nests, eggs, antlers, drawings, and photographs.
