Landsknecht fountain

At the southern end of Fronwagplatz is the Landsknecht or Metzgerbrunnen, a four-tube fountain and the largest fountain in the town. The heavily armed lansquenet figure on the fountain column symbolizes the fortified town of Schaffhausen.
