Four «Randentürme» (viewing towers)

The robust «Randentürme» (viewing towers) " made of iron, steel and sometimes wood seem to majestically greet each other like beacons over the heads of the tallest trees and dozens of kilometers of landscape. The highest of these viewing platforms scattered across the canton is located in Merishausen. With a height of 40 meters and 225 lattice steps, the Hagenturm is almost 1000 meters above sea level. Like its "smaller" brothers in Beringen, Schleitheim and Siblingen, it is not for people with a fear of heights. A fabulous panorama from the Black Forest to the Alps awaits at the top.
